More about us

Since taking over the club and course in September 2018, the team have been working hard to get the club back to where it was in its prime in the late 1980s and early 90’s. Although there is a long way to go the feedback we are already getting from visitors and members is very encouraging.

There are exciting plans for the future with the owner of the freehold looking to build a new clubhouse with bar, restaurant and dining room, within the next 2-3 years.

In the meantime our main focus has been to get the golf operation up and running as it should be, with the assistance of some old and new additions to the team.

Our team at Beauport Park want you to have fun when playing golf at our venue. Whether it be on the floodlit driving range, our par 3 course (pitch and putt) or our challenging 18 hole parkland course we are confident that you will have an enjoyable time. The dress code is casual although we do ask that you have the appropriate footwear when playing the course.

The whole project is being overseen by Managing Director Roger Hyder, a Fellow of the Professional Golfers Association and someone who can boast a total of 40 years in professional golf and golf club management. In fact 5 of those years were spent as a professional at Beauport Park from 1985 -1990 when he left to become the first Head Professional at East Sussex National.
